My dad told me that the best thing I can do as an artist is just to show up for work. I'm trying to adhere to that; it keeps my hands busy and the utilities running. DigitalWebbing or ConceptArt.org is where I try to find work most of the time, but lately it's been few and far between.
If you have something you want to see and you have some extra cash, or if you have a project in need of artwork, my commission book is wide open! I would like to think that I can draw anything at any time, and the price is based on how much time and effort is involved. Generally I charge $15/hr because that's what I would make if I was working for an actual company as a new hire. So here's the breakdown >
sketch commissions range from little black and white drawings like this one which start at $10
small avatars at $15 (i mean color or monotone so long as it's simple and under 500x500 pixels)
monotone concepts $20
quick full color concepts like these at $25 (you just have to specify if you want it more cartoony or more realistic/grotesque)
$30 - $40 if you want some full body detailed monsters or scenes like these
I use paypal and prefer payment up front for these sketch commissions. Sometimes game related (TF2, etc) stuff can be negotiated with steam items.
NOW if you would like something that's complete and polished and ready for publication or the tattoo parlor that's when it's going to add up. Generally stuff like this used to take me a lot longer than it does now (thanks to patrons like you that keep me working

) so they still run between $75 and $100 depending on the job. If it's a subject I'm unfamiliar with, it may take me more than two weeks to complete. But I DO keep you updated along the way so that if any issues come up in the process they can be fixed!

thanks for your time!
